What is it?
This is the neck pain that is present over a long time and gradually increases. It can range from small sharp pain in the neck to a dull pain that may resonate to the arm. The reasons for this may be cervical spondylitis, physical injury or trauma, low calcium levels, herniated discs, osteoarthritis, stenosis, poor posture, and/or fibromyalgia. The symptoms may worsen with turning, lifting or lowering your head and popping sounds may be heard. The condition may further worsen and lead to poor balance, loss of muscle balance and/or disability.
