What is it?
Glomerulonephritis affects the tiny filters of kidneys. These tiny filters are known as Glomeruli and are responsible for removing toxins and wastes from the bloodstream. These toxins get released from the body by urine. A prolonged Glomerulonephritis condition can damage the kidneys.
Glomerulonephritis occurs on its own or as part of another disease, such as lupus or diabetes.
