What is Rhinoplasty ?

It is a surgery done to reshape one’s nose. It can be done to improve the shape of the nose, correct defects involving the nasal septum, bridge of the nose, walls of the nose, and other breathing difficulties, or get a proper bone structure. It can be a cosmetic surgery or a corrective surgery. Starting from the slope of the nose to the bridge and the tip, any part can be corrected based on the goal you have in mind. It can either involve the bone, cartilage, skin, or all three. Birth defects like nasal septum deviation can also be corrected. It is a major surgery performed under general anesthesia with endotracheal intubation instead of naso-endotracheal intubation.
