What is it?
When the peripheral limb veins seem to be enlarged and/or get twisted, blood flow obstruction is seen and swelling, color change and/or functionality issues of the limbs are seen. This condition is
called varicose veins and is most commonly associated with decreased blood return to the heat, from the peripheral limbs. The patient may first experience throbbed pain in their legs which, over
time gets to the complications like blood clots, internal bleeding, ulceration, and more.
