Plaque build-up in the arteries resulting in decreased blood flow, blockage due to cholesterol accumulations, aneurysms, pathologies, and more can be excised and removed using vascular surgeries. Some common vascular surgeries are carotid artery surgery, peripheral artery bypass surgery, angioplasty, stenting, arteriovenous fistula creation, atherectomy, and more. They will be performed in conjunction with an imaging technique.
